| Under the Barristers (Qualification for Admission and Pupillage) Rules, a person has to complete not less than 6 months of pupillage (subject to reduction by the Chief Judge) before he or she is eligible for admission as a barrister and commencement of limited practice in Hong Kong. To instruct a pupil in limited practice, enquiry should be made with the pupil in order to ascertain whether he or she has in fact been admitted and is in limited practice. Please note that the information published in relation to pupils accord with their pupillage arrangements as last approved by the Bar Council by the time of the publication of the Bar List. |
